Chris G. Shaw, JD

Chris is an attorney, teacher, speaker and technologist. For more than a decade, he has worked in online media, web development and technology sales. As an attorney, he’s worked with law firms big and small as well as citizen and corporate clients. He specializes in investigative research, social media and tech trends for the legal community and emerging platforms. He currently practices law in Missouri.
As a teenager Chris spent his time building computers and websites. After college, his love of policy and education took him to The Colorado College to be the Director of Debate and a Communications Lecturer. His team earned a berth in the national final four.
Chris earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Missouri and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa. While at Iowa, Chris served as a Contributing Editor for the Iowa Law Review and competed as a member of Iowa’s National Moot Court Team. Chris is a member of the Missouri Bar, the American Association of Justice and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
Chris is an avid sports fan and lives in Blue Springs Mo., with his wife, Kristin, and dog, Truman.
