Cherri T. Gregg
Spring 2010 Research Fellow
Cherri is in her second semester of Temple University’s Masters in Journalism program. For the past seven years, she worked as an intellectual property litigation attorney for two nationally known law firms. During that time, Cherri focused her law practice on trademark, patent and other technology-focused commercial litigation. She aided in the successful representation of a major home appliance manufacturer, one of the world’s largest package delivery companies, as well as a number of pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Although Cherri enjoyed practicing law, she is extremely excited about her transition from law to journalism and hopes to bring to fruition her lifelong dream of working as a broadcast and/or digital journalist.
A self-proclaimed “techno-junkie,” Cherri is originally from Capitol Heights, Maryland. Cherri currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband. She enjoys traveling, making wine and experiencing new adventures. Follow Cherri on her blog.
